Writing Every Day with English Learners

Seventh annual fall symposium meeting the literacy needs of all students.


Join the teacher leaders of GVWP as they share their research-based approaches for teaching English Learners. Demonstrations feature:

  Social interaction as the foundation of student language development.

  ELL instruction which integrates listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

  Writing to increase comprehension and improve student engagement in content-areas.

  Technology approaches and tools that build confident, mature writers.

  Teaching forms of writing aligned with CA ELA and Common Core standards.
